Over the Border and Across the Pond
I am excited to announce that Walls: Travels Along the Barricades now has publishers in the U.S. and the U.K. (I’ve been having a great October.)
Union Books will publish Walls this June in the United Kingdom. Union is run by Alex Clark and Rosalind Porter, both formerly of Granta, a literary journal I’ve long admired (and have always wanted to write for.) Union’s enthusiasm for Walls has been humbling and I look forward to working with everyone there.
Soft Skull Press, an imprint of Counterpoint, will publish Walls in the United States. I’m thrilled that the book will be included on the eclectic list of titles that Soft Skull produces. The American version of Walls – with the kilometres converted to miles and the letter ‘u’ taken out of ‘colour,’ ‘honour’ and ‘clamour’ – will also appear this coming spring. I am honoured, and honored, to be working with Soft Skull.
