Shortlisted for the J. W. Dafoe
I woke up to happy news this morning. Precarious made the shortlist for the J.W. Dafoe Book Prize. According to the website, the prize “is awarded to the best book on Canada, Canadians, and/or Canada’s place in the world published in the previous calendar year.”
My son asked if the prize was named in honour of the actor who played The Green Goblin in the Spider-Man movies. I said yes.
